Patrick's Lucky Dip - Android

I've been learning the Android API and development environment for two reasons: to see if it the right direction for us to go to develop mobile business systems at work, and because I'd like to see if I can earn a little extra from selling apps. So far it's a cautious yes for the former, and too early to say for the latter.

Learn2Park

My first app took much longer than I expected. The main reason was learning how the Android platform handles events such as pausing and switching applications. I'm pleased with how this has turned out: I've got a solid foundation on which to build and extend this parking simulator, and I've learnt a huge amount.

Droid Attack

This game was great fun to write and I've enjoyed playing it too. It's still a work in progress, so I'd be glad to hear from you on how you get on with it.
