I have had the good fortune to work closely with a number of very different IS/IT managers. They have all had different approaches and different strengths but yet almost all have been very successful. There is a wealth of information on what makes a good managers and good leaders written by far deeper thinkers than me. I can only tell you about what I have seen working well, particularly what has worked for me.

Which Oracle Tool?

We spent a long time working out which of the Oracle tools were the best one's for us. We are now using Application Express and JDeveloper, and here's why.
