wiki Tour
This is a series of screen shots that take you through the process of entering content into the wiki. It's a very basic tool, so you should find that you pick it up really quickly.
This is what the wiki looks like once you have deployed it. A little empty. Here's a quick guide to adding content.
Click on the edit tab. Type "Introduction" into the new section box and click Add New Section.
Your section has been added. Click on the edit link to the right of the section title.
A little text editor appears (courtesy of fckEditor) which you can use to add text to a page.
Type some text in and hit save. You will get a confirmation that your changes have been saved.
Click on the view tab to see what it looks like.
If you click on the history tab you can see a list of all the edits made to each section of the page. You can use this to revert to a previous version of any section.
Click on the discussion tab. It's a little quiet here, but you can start something off by clicking on the Add New Topic button.
You'll need to give your topic a title and then you can enter some text.
Hit the save button and you can see that your new topic appears with a nice big title. A reply button has appeared, so let's click on that.
There are three types of reply - a general comment, a vote of support or a vote to oppose a suggestion. Pick one, enter some text and click save.
You can see your reply on the screen. Discussions are threaded.
Let's be adventurous and add a new page.
Click on the edit page and at the bottom, beside the Add New Section you'll find the place to add a new page. Type a name in the box and click on the Add Page button.
You'll see a link to your new page at the top of the page. Click on the link to see your new page.
Woo hoo! A new page. Click on the edit tab to add some content.
I added a new section called Links. Do the same and click on the link to edit the new section text.
This is the clever bit. Type in the word "Welcome" and surround it with square brackets: [Welcome]. Page names are case sensitive.
Save your changes and click on the view tab to see your link. It's very quick and easy to build a number of pages, so easy that it can be hard to find them again - that's why there's a search option.
Type your search term into the search box on the right of the screen and press enter.
Hits with terms that appear in the page title or section title score higher than those in the body text.
