Version 0.1.002

This is now available for download. This version adds human artifacts to the basic planet. The test application starts with a ready-constructed settlement on the surface of Mars.

As with version 0.1.001, you will need the Java runtime version 5 or later. You can get this from Sun

Download this file mars_0_1_002.zip

Unzip it onto your C: drive so that the Mars_0_1_002.Bat file can be found at C:\Mars\Mars_0_1_002.Bat. It won't work if the files are not in the right place.

Double click on the Mars_0_1_002.Bat file to run it. Click on the "Update" button to see the spinning globe. Click on the pane on the right and then use the cursor keys on the keyboard to move around. Holding down the Alt or Shift key changes the function of the cursor keys.

Version 0.1.001

Version 0.1.001 is available for download. This allows you to view the globe and to explore a small area of the surface. Watch out for future releases.
